Gort Community School is delighted to announce our selection as one of 20 post primary schools in Ireland to take part in the Digital Learning Framework Pilot by the Department of Education and Skills.

As part of this trial we are asking all Parents/Teachers to complete a survey in relation to digital technology & learning.

The framework provides a road map to assist schools manage the transformation of teaching and learning as a result of new digital technologies.

As a school we will receive targeted professional development supports to enable us to embrace and engage fully in digital technologies within our school. 

New technologies in today’s society is revolutionising the way our young people access information and the careers they aspire to in the future. As a school we believe that by engaging in this Framework it will assist us to respond to these change and enhance learning for each and every one of our students allowing them to achieve their full potential.
